My graduation was the spring of 1971. Graduation ceremonies were held in the old HRC (Health Resources Center, site of the Armand Hammer Alumni-Student Center now) and concluded with the groundbreaking of Christ Chapel. As I was walking back to the dorm with a friend, we met Oral Roberts himself and he started talking to us. He asked me about friends and relatives attending the graduation. "All my relatives are in Scandinavia and no one could come, so I'm all alone," I said, and I could feel that he sensed my sadness. With a big smile, he put an arm around me and said, "I'm here with you." That was the real Oral Roberts for me, and one of my fondest memories of my four years at ORU. Chris Sjostedt
