The City of Faith vision will always be a profound act of faith that instilled possibilities and hope. As a student and participant in the Laity Seminar, I was privileged to experience the excitement that day when Oral Roberts made the announcement. That time has not been forgotten, nor the joy of being a Prayer Partner at the completion of the City of Faith working with doctors and nurses among patients seeking wholeness. At one future date, I hope the City of Faith will return for which it was designed. Always, may ORU continue to own that special and holy property until the Holy Spirit provides direction for reopening. Could it be that God has someone with the means and vision? Time will unfold God’s moment of revelation.
ORU has a challenging curriculum and really focuses on student growth. Each class provides an opportunity for the student to learn more about themselves and to find ways to improve. The school has a faith-based structure which allows the student to incorporate religion into their studies while staying on task with the core program because of the Christ-centered learning environment.
